Host and moderator: Kai Grunwitz – NTT Security

Panelists: Hans-Wilhelm Dünn – Präsident des Cyber-Sicherheitsrat Deutschland e.V

Christian Koch (NTT Security)

Kai Grunwitz: So cyber security as a differentiator

Christian Koch: I fully agree with the statement. I think it’s really a situation that you can see security as a competitive advantage in your business. When you take the example of the power networks and you see all the components in the power networks, and of course we have the issue that an outage can happen, but when you sell your products for security in mind, when you suggest to the companies that build up a network everything in a secure way, this is a real advantage. And you have to see this in your business. And you have to tell this your customers and then we can change the mindset.

Hans-Wilhelm Dünn: If you want autonomous driving, yes, for the automotive sector, yes, we have not only the DAX30 concerns, we have 900 automotive suppliers and without cyber security no autonomous driving. That’s the answer.

Kai Grunwitz: No one wants to drive a car that hit the wall because it have been hijacked
